Swap ECU’s

Engine swap ECU’s are the bread and butter of this business. We offer full plug & play Engine Control Unit’s that are 50 state legal. The vehicle will believe that it came this way from the factory.

There are many asterisks and caveats depending on the model engine vs the chassis but we have solutions for basically all models and engine conversion types within the same generation or close. This would be for manual and automatic transmissions. Please feel free to contact for specific needs.

Swap ECU Pricing

Here are the general prices for getting your swap done.

Different Cylinder/Induction Combinations

The price for adding in an ECU for an engine that is a different cylinder count or induction type is the same across the board: $800
*This does not include a working TCU (which you will need if you are working with an automatic)
*This include an engine performance tune.
*This is also the standard for ME2.0-ME2.8 conversion units

Same Cylinder/Induction Count

For example:
NA 4.3L M113  to  NA 5.4L M113

This is $300 starting. It can vary if you are changing the transmission or would like a performance tune.

Transmission Change

Transmission changes start at $300. If you have an automatic and are changing over to a manual then this is what you need unless it is a Kompressor car in which case please see the page: TCU Tuning and Manual Controllers.

ME1.0
ME2.0
ME2.8
ME2.8.1
ME9.7 Ready!

Additional Coding

Any additional coding is included at no extra cost. If there are options you would like to eliminate we can do that for you.

Standalone Factory Electronics

We have cracked the code! We now offer fully functional (manual transmission) factory ECU working standalone systems! No ESP, No keys, No modules other than an ECU, a custom DAS system, and a kompressor controller when needed.

Prices vary from $1,100 – $1,600 depending on the engine variant.

Quick Example: The engine can run on a pallet using a factory ECU and throw no codes.

All automatics will need PCS NAG1 Standalone kit. They can be purchased “Sound German Auto”.
